Session I “Pure Restorative” Doing nothing, being everything. Soft, silent and still… Savasana.
Session II “Embodied Rest” Everything is better when you are rested! Letting the body to fall into relaxation. Drop into yourself. Session III “Somatic micro-cacao” Next to REST we will experience the heart-opening power of the cocoa plant (+microdosing available) while the exploration of the small intuitive somatic movement. Session IV “Access Savasana” Is about stimulating positive change in the brain through the Bars, where SANDRA let us experience the assess to it. What my son (10) says about her is “She put her hands on my head and I start feeling a flow through all my body! Wow is so cool! ” En from there we going to take a trip to a cellular Savasana. Session V “Foot Touch Chair Rest” Your feet will be in the hand of DIANA (foot reflexology and Reiki therapist). And once you are there, believe me you will never want to go out of this ascended state. Session VI “Total Nidra Immersion” “All good stories begin in the end.” Is about revealing your true self. In tone with the spacious silence.

This SAVASANA SUNDAYS series is a mix of Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Meditation, Embodiment, Somatic Yoga, Therapeutic movement, Access bars, Foot reflex, Cacao en Massage. The practice provide a state of deep rest, pure consciousness and healthy body. Invite the practice of DEEP REST to guide your journey, where the mind can open and body can heal.

SAVASANA

While the body and subtle body benefit from the movement and exertion of asana, yoga’s ultimate state is only achieved when we stop. It’s in savasana that we practice the very important task of doing nothing, in both body and mind. When we lose ourselves as the actor, bliss arises.

The term is derived from two Sanskrit roots; shava, meaning “corpse”, and asana meaning “seat” or “posture”. Savasana is the most effective way to cultivate conscious surrender, but due to its introspective nature, it can be challenging for people with busy minds. 

While the body and subtle body benefit from the movement and exertion of asana, yoga’s ultimate state is only achieved when we stop. It’s in savasana that we practice the very important task of doing nothing, in both body and mind. When we lose ourselves as the actor, bliss arises.

Savasana is believed to stimulate the muladhara (root) chakra, since the entire length of the body is connected with the earth. Energizing this chakra through savasana is deeply grounding, and cultivates the inner stillness and stability necessary for personal growth. Additional benefits of savasana include:

  2. Improving memory, focus and concentration.
  3. Relief from stress, headache, fatigue and insomnia.
  4. Lowering blood pressure.
  5. Providing deep relaxation.

Our bodies are capable of healing when the nervous system is in a relaxation response. However, most of us are so busy that our nervous systems don’t spend enough time in parasympathetic mode—our body’s healing mode—unless we’re forced to via illness, injury, breakdown, or burnout.
